London Talent International is managed by Akashia Carswell (below right), a highly skilled hospitality professional with 24-years experience across the industry, working in senior management, recruitment, brand development and public relations roles.
Having also headed-up operations management in numerous restaurants, bars and clubs, Akashia understands all elements of the hospitality industry, and is therefore able to manage the London Talent team to become a trusted extension of each client’s business.
Our wealth of experience means we have a deep and clear understanding of each client’s varied needs, and we are able to take on recruitment with a fresh and intuitive approach that produces first class results, time and time again.
Our Miami-based team have extensive experience in all aspects of the hospitality industry, from luxury hotel operations and development to commercial real-estate.
Led by Walid Sfeir – who was part of the pre-opening team of the famed Beverly Hills hotel – and Alex Duff – who has opened acclaimed restaurants in the area such as A Fish Called Avalon, American Bistro, Rebar and Pacific Time – our consultants have the experience and expertise to work with clients to meet a wide-range of briefs with spectacular results.
Walid Sfeir received international recognition for the role he played in creating the highly successful Nobu and Ago Restaurants in Miami, following his location to the area to oversee the construction and general hotel operations of The Shore Club Hotel in 2000.
Having previously worked with the Private Label Hotels group, who manage exclusive hotels and advise real estate companies such as Starwood Capital, Le Frak organization and Fort Capital in their hotel acquisition, Walid is vastly skilled in all aspects of the industry and has a wide range of contacts to call on in order to source the best skills the industry can offer.
Alex Duff has an extensive hospitality real estate network and has specialised in buying and selling restaurants, bars, and nightclubs for his clients. Notable deals that Alex has successfully closed include: Mokai Lounge/ Mama Viejas; Halo/ Hemisphere; Insomnia/ Sempra; Tufnell/ Oasis; Haman/ Dab Hausa; Amendment 21/ Gigi Bistro; Fiore Pizza/ Pizza Power; Scrap bar/ Gil’s Café; Rabbit’s foot/ Loading Zone; and the restaurant at the Tudor Hotel, which he sold twice.
With a passion for the restaurant business, Alex has also advised clients on creating new concepts and developing brands in his role as a restaurant consultant, and has worked with some of the most exciting brands and characters in the business.
